The data comes from a case study on titanium dioxide (TiO&#x2082;) <span class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"cmtt_b9e9395286233f41aea957abe9492004\" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">nanomaterials<\/span> (NMs) for photocatalytic surfaces for pollutant removal, which were produced using various spray coating techniques as part of the Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) approach. The data is publicly available via a dedicated Zenodo community (<a href=\"https:\/\/zenodo.org\/communities\/asina\/records\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/zenodo.org\/communities\/asina\/records<\/a>) and consists of individual datasets containing the data and corresponding metadata separately. Each dataset is systematically named to reflect its context, beginning with &#x2018;ASINA dataset&#x2019;, followed by (i) the relevant life cycle stage (LCS) from synthesis to end of life, (ii) the SSbD dimension (i.e. functionality, safety and environmental aspects) and (iii) the evaluated properties (e.g., physicochemical properties, hazard assessment, functional assessment) to facilitate searching.<\/p>\n<p>&#xA0;<\/p>\n<p>This article describes the overall efforts to structure, capture, and openly share datasets created as part of the ASINA project in accordance with FAIR principles:<\/p>\n<p>Furxhi, I., M.
