DECHEMA FORUM 2026

The DECHEMA FORUM 2026 brings together experts from industry, academia, and research to address a key question: how can process industries defossilize while remaining competitive?

During this three-day event, we will explore tools for sustainable industrial transformation. Topics include replacing fossil feedstock with biomass, CO₂, or recycled carbon; transitioning from fossil energy to renewable electricity and hydrogen; increasing resource, energy, and water efficiency; and leveraging chemical and biotechnological catalysis as well as improved downstream processes.

In addition to plenary talks, the program will include interactive workshops, discussions, and poster and industrial exhibitions, all designed to showcase practical solutions and inspire new ideas. A dedicated program for PhD students and early career scientists will promote cross-generational exchange and foster new connections.
