The Horizon Europe SUNRISE project is at the forefront of developing SSbD knowledge and tools in line with the SSbD Framework. Building on the foundational work of its predecessor, the H2020 SUNSHINE project, several peer-reviewed publications from the project consortium have been referenced in the Revised Framework in key areas of refinement. These contributions include advancing the understanding of the strategic link between innovation processes and SSbD objectives, as well as identifying relevant socio-economic categories and aspects for a robust and more comprehensive socio-economic assessment.
